Week Two

Today our little pumpkin turns two weeks old. She is still such a little angel - sleeping and eating great, and already growing like a weed. The other day, I was rocking both Jackson and Reese and just felt overwhelmed with emotion that they are both ours. We are so blessed. I try to keep that in mind when I begin to feel like a diaper changing factory. It seems someone always needs to be changed, or fed, or let outside, or changed again. Such is the season of life we are living right now, and I'm reminded too often how fleeting this season is. 

This was my attempt to capture the "grow with the doggie" photos, like I did (sometimes) with Jackson. However, Jackson had another idea. His two-year-old energy is boundless. If only we could bottle it up... Looks like Reese is already working on some defense moves.

With each day, we think she looks a little more like her brother (besides her nose). Here is Reese Elizabeth at 1.5 weeks old.
